Within the region known as the Oberrhein, the German Swiss border area, is composed out of Elsass, north west Switzerland, Südpfalz and Baden. In this region the cooperation between private and public actors stemming from different fields (social, economic and cultural) should be enhanced. The civil society over the borders should enter a stronger collaboration in order to contribute to the general development of the trinational identity.
