EnergieSchweiz, the national program for energy efficiency and renewable energy of the Federal Department of Energy, places an emphasis on the sustainable neighborhood development as a important contributor in aiming for the Swiss energy and climate political goals. The evaluation tool (Development Program for Sustainable Neighborhoods) is to be tested on the pilot project Dreispitz, Basel.
